Contemporary Painting
Mon 5:15-7:15PM
Tues 11:00-1:00PM
Sat 12:30-2:30pm
Contemporary Painting classes at South Bay Art Department embrace the notion of exploration and experimentation, encouraging a risk-taking attitude.
All painting students work with acrylic paint — exploring the visual challenges of color, scale and space. And in an effort to break away from preconceptions, the tools and materials we use are often varied and experimental. Whether objective or non-objective, these encounters with paint will help build a sense of confidence and accomplishment.
